What began as Just The Tip Tattoo has evolved into Stay Marked Tattoo.

This change reflects how far we’ve come, and where we’re headed next.

The story behind the name

When we opened our doors, we leaned into humor and personality.
It helped us stand out, and it created a lot of memorable moments.
But as the shop matured, the name began to feel like a limitation.

We kept hearing the same question:
“Are you ever going to change the name?”
Some people found it funny. Others hesitated to book at all.
It became clear that the name was getting in the way, especially as we started thinking about where we wanted to go next.

The artists here are serious about their craft.
The work deserves a name that meets that standard.
Stay Marked was the phrase that finally felt right.

It points to the permanence of what we do.
The designs, the memories, the identity behind every piece.
Tattoos don’t fade from the story of a person’s life.
They stay.

So, we named the shop accordingly.

What hasn’t changed

Ownership is the same.
Our team is the same.
The commitment to clean lines, solid color, and great service hasn’t moved an inch.

You’ll still see the familiar faces.
You’ll still hear music playing and machines buzzing.
You’ll still get tattooed by people who care about the work as much as you do.

Why now

This was a move we thought through carefully.
We didn’t rebrand for hype or trend.
We did it to align our name with the quality and character already built.

Stay Marked gives us more room to grow.
It opens the door to future plans: new collabs, more artists, broader reach.
But most importantly, it gives every client something solid to stand behind.
