Position Overview

We are seeking a talented, professional Tattoo Artist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced artist looking for a supportive, well-established shop with strong client flow and flexible commission options.

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $175 per hour, with raises after probationary period

  • Commission: Shop commission is negotiable based on experience, speciality, clientele, and availability

Responsibilities

  • Create custom tattoo designs that align with client vision and shop standards

  • Perform tattoo services safely, efficiently, and professionally

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile workstation in compliance with all health regulations

  • Provide excellent customer service from consultation through aftercare

  • Collaborate respectfully with other artists and shop staff

  • Uphold the reputation and brand of Stay Marked Tattoo

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a professional tattoo artist

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill and artistic range

  • Knowledge of proper sterilization, hygiene, and safety practices

  • Valid Washington State tattoo license (or ability to obtain one)

  • Bloodborne pathogens certification

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
